Construction workers are at higher risk of developing cancer from their work than any other industry group.
Exposure to asbestos, silica, diesel and paint fumes as well as working outdoors in the sun and increases in smoking and alcohol abuse amongst construction workers all contribute to making people in our industry more at risk of certain cancers.
